Cisco 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP Module
The Cisco industry-standard Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) Gigabit Interface Converter is a hot-swappable input/output device that plugs into a Gigabit Ethernet port or slot, linking the port with the network. SFPs can be used and interchanged on a wide variety of Cisco products and can be intermixed in combinations of 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX/LH, or 1000BASE-ZX on a port-by-port basis.
The GLC-LH-SM, 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP operates on ordinary single-mode fiber optic link spans of up to 10,000 meters in length. SFP modules are field-replaceable, and you can insert them into SFP module slots on the front panel of many Cisco devices. You can use the SFP modules for connections to other devices. This SFP module is compatible with Catalyst 2950ST-24-LRE switch, Catalyst 2950ST-8-LRE switch, Cisco 11503 content services switch, Cisco 11506 content services switch, Cisco CSS5-SCM-2GE, Cisco ONS 15327 G1000-2, Cisco 12000 Series Modular Gigabit Ethernet Line Card (baseboard), WS-X4448-GB-LX Gigabit Ethernet switching module. |
