TouchPoint - the Remote Data Backup & Restore service from Data Mountain.
TouchPoint offers agentless, centrally managed backup schedules for desktop PCs, servers and applications. These backups are collated on a server held locally - the TPLS. This data is then itself encrypted and sent via the internet to Data Mountain secure data centre located in Northampton. Just to be extra safe, the data is replicated one last time, to an ultra-secure data centre in London.
The TouchPoint service has four main aspects:

TouchPoint Enterprise - for multi-platform server and desktop backup & recovery.

TouchPoint Application - for applications and application servers.

TouchPoint Client Lite - this is the TouchPoint Client software, for backing up laptops and other devices that do not have a permanent connection to the company network.

TouchPoint Complete Business Continuity - this offers a high availability solution for Exchange, SQL, Oracle and file/print servers.
